Meet the Leblasto Omen—a fully 3D-printed, shell-ejecting single-shot blaster built for smooth mechanics, realistic action, and pure mechanical satisfaction. The Omen uses an opposing-tension slide system: the slide naturally wants to open under rubber-band tension, and closing it both loads and arms the blaster.
The Omen fires using LB32 pre-primed cartridges, which are fully 3D printed, powered by exercise bands, and shared across the JESTER and WISP platforms. Load a cartridge, close the slide, pull the trigger, and enjoy clean, automatic shell ejection after every shot.
How It Works
-
Insert an LB32 pre-primed cartridge into the chamber.
-
Close the slide
-
Pull the trigger:
-
The hammer hits the striker.
-
The striker releases the LB32 cartridge’s stored band energy.
-
The slide snaps rearward under tension and ejects the spent shell in a satisfying arc.
-
The backward motion resets the internal mechanism for the next reload.
-
Features
-
Fully mechanical—no electronics, no complex hardware.
-
Clean, reliable automatic shell ejection after every shot.
-
Fires using LB32 exercise-band-powered cartridges (same as JESTER & WISP).
-
Fully 3D printable in PLA (PLA Tough recommended).
-
Extremely low hardware requirements: just PLA parts, office rubber bands, and exercise bands.
-
Compatible with mega-sized 95×20 mm foam darts.
-
Includes 3MF files.
-
Performance around ~60 FPS.
The Leblasto Omen is engineered for makers who appreciate clever mechanical design and satisfying functional motion. If you love shell-ejecting blasters, this one is an absolute must-print.
