Swing Target

4.00

Similar to the knockout target. No  magnets needed.

You can attempted to print it all in place and I have had medium luck with that. Easier to print the ring than the swing parts. Technically you only need on swing for each layer and then you can print that four times. I am including all the options as some of them have more or less room for the swing area and for clipping them into place. They are fairly sturdy but if your hitting them above 200 and your close they could break so keep that in mine. Good news is its all printed so just make more.

See caution below but here is a summary.

  • They will require more force than you like or want to use
  • Make sure you print so that the round area on the frame is ALL walls. Beyond that its up to you.
  • Go slow and brace them as best you can
  • If your worried about it sand down the area the round part flexes through to make it easier
  • Sand the round area for more free movement
  • They will wear and move more freelyCaution

When you’re clipping these in they will require more force than you think is reasonable and are comfortable with. They can break during this time. I strongly suggest printing these in PETG or a stiff TPU as the clip areas are designed to flex. However regardless of what you print them in keep them lined up basically parallel and make sure your using even force. Use your thumb and finger to keep the clip area sort of braced (once you do a couple it makes sense) and it will help reduce the breaking.

If you’re uncomfortable with the force required use some grease or sand/file down the area where the round part slides through to clip in to ease it. You can also sand the circle area to allow for more free swinging movement.
